Target Audience: Special education teachers, general education teachers, teachers in alternative settings, curriculum coaches, and administrators

 

Please join us in October 2020 for a 4 week book study centered around Teaching With the Instructional Cha-Chas  4 Steps to Make Learning Stick by LeAnn Nickelsen and Melissa Dickson.

 

This resource shares a 4-step cycle of instruction where neuroscience meets research-based teaching practices and formative assessment to improve student learning.

 

Participants will be required to purchase their own copy of the book.

The first twenty participants to register will receive a free book.

 

Each session will be from 4:00pm-5:00pm via zoom.  Calendar invites will be sent for each of the meeting dates.

 

Oct. 7th  Chapters 1&2

Oct. 14th Chapters 3&4

Oct. 21st Chapters 5&6

Oct. 28th Chapters 7&8

 

Participants will receive 2 hours of PD/EILA credit for each session attended.

 

Registration will end on Wednesday, September 23rd in order for participants to be ready for discussion of Chapters 1 & 2 on Wednesday, October 7th.
