We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

There are no upcoming dates for this event.

Are all students actively engaged in learning, or are some just going through the motions? In this interactive virtual session, we will explore high-impact strategies from Total Participation Techniques: Making Every Student an Active Learner (2nd Edition) by Pérsida and William Himmele. These evidence-based techniques ensure that every student—regardless of background or ability—participates meaningfully in the learning process.

Designed for K-12 educators, instructional coaches, administrators, and district leaders, this session will provide immediately applicable strategies to increase student engagement, formative assessment opportunities, and critical thinking. Participants will leave with a toolkit of practical techniques to create a more equitable and dynamic learning environment where all students contribute, think deeply, and take ownership of their learning. Whether you’re in the classroom or supporting teachers, these strategies will transform passive learning into active participation. All participants who attend the training will be entered into a drawing for a free copy of Total Participation Techniques.

2 hours of PD/EILA credit will be provided.
