Target Audience: Special Education Teachers, General Education Teachers working with students with IEPs, Interventionists, Instructional Coaches, Administrators

3 hours PD/EILA credit

 

This will be a 3-hour virtual session.

 

Students with learning disabilities and students affected by trauma or poverty may likely demonstrate characteristics of poor working memory difficulties. A few of the behaviors that may manifest include not following step by step instructions, difficulty in completing tasks or working independently, and lack of retention of information. This training session will provide a background on the causes of working memory deficits and will provide classroom strategies to support successful student learning.
