Students with learning disabilities and students affected by trauma or poverty may likely demonstrate characteristics of poor working memory difficulties. A few of the behaviors that may manifest include not following step by step instructions, difficulty in completing tasks or working independently, and lack of retention of information. This training session will provide a background on the causes of working memory deficits and will provide classroom strategies to support successful student learning.

A two hour virtual session will be held on September 24th from 9:30am-11:30am and a link for a 1 hour self-paced module will be provided at that time to complete a total of 3 hours PD/EILA credit.
