Target Audience: Any school staff

This hybrid PD session will review the criteria that defines what a Social Story is – and is not – are periodically updated to keep pace with research and experience.  This session is the world’s most efficient presentation of the Social Stories 10.3 Criteria released in early 2021.  At the conclusion, participants will be able to: 1.        list the Social Stories 10.3 Criteria; 2.       describe the contribution of each criterion to the quality, safety, and integrity of every Social Story; 3.       explain the difference between the Social Stories 10.2 and 10.3 Criteria, and the reasons behind each of the revisions and updates; and 4.       use the criteria to determine if a story is a Social Story.  Materials to review prior to the session will be sent one week prior.  At the end of the live session participants will be awarded 2.5 hours.  For more information contact sally.miracle@ckec.org.
