Target Audience: Any school staff attending ARC’s to discuss if students are eligible to participate in the Alternate Assessment.

Thank you for registering for the hybrid professional development titled “Does My Student Qualify for Alternate Assessment?”

On July 31, you will be given access to a Google Drive folder filled with links and resources to review prior to the live virtual session on August 5.  Upon completion of the live session on August 5, participants will be awarded 4 hours of Professional Development (2 hours for pre-workshop review and 2 hours for the virtual session.   If you have any questions, please contact Sally Miracle at sally.miracle@ckec.org. 

This hybrid Professional Development opportunity will provide an interactive walk-thru of completing the Kentucky Department of Education Alternate Assessment Participation Guidelines.  Participants will explore data sources as evidence, look at mock case scenarios, and practice analyzing the data to determine if a student is eligible or not to participate in the Alternate Assessment.  For questions on this session please contact Sally Miracle at sally.miracle@ckec.org.
