Target Audience: Special education staff and administrators

 

This professional learning opportunity is designed to improve the knowledge and skills in the practice of monitoring student progress. Participants should have access to an IEP with progress monitoring data from a student on their caseload

Session outcomes are: 

  • Identify the required components of IEP progress monitoring
  • Determine effectiveness of instruction through progress monitoring 
  • Designing Tools for collecting meaningful data 

 

This training is a hybrid training. There will be a self-paced component as well as a virtual trainer led component.  Self-paced materials will be sent to participants by July 7, 2020. The link to the virtual trainer led component will be sent to the participants. The virtual component be from 12:30 – 3:30 on July 14. This training consists of two components. 

  1. Self-paced learning component that will be sent via email to participants on July 7. These materials will need to be reviewed/completed prior to the July 14 Zoom Session.
  2. Zoom session on July 14 from 12:30 – 3:30
