Target Audience: Special Education Teachers, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Assistive Technology Team members

In this 3 hour workshop, participants will delve into practical techniques and innovative approaches to create inclusive learning environments where students can thrive. Through a combination of interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and real-world examples, attendees will gain valuable insights into:

  • Adapting Toys: Discover the simple method to make battery-operated toys accessible with a simple switch.
  • Customizing Instructional Tools: Learn how to create teaching materials to ensure accessibility and promote engagement for all students.
  • Tool Customization: Create a couple of basic items that your student may need or want.
