Target Audience: General Education, Special Education, Instructional Coaches, and Administrators

This six-hour (PD/EILA) face-to-face training will highlight evidence-based strategies that promote success in math class. The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics 8 Effective Mathematics Teaching Practices will be highlighted in conjunction with the Standards for Mathematical Practice. Participants will go through an application-style approach to embedding these teaching practices into the classroom, regardless of program and curriculum. There will be an emphasis on high-yield yield specially designed instruction (SDI) strategies centered around reasoning and problem solving.
