We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

There are no upcoming dates for this event.

Target Audience: Any school staff working with students with intellectual disabilities who are looking towards a college or university as part of their transition plan.

Comprehensive Transition and Postsecondary Programs (CTPs) were created by the Higher Education Opportunities Act (HEOA, 2008). These programs support students with intellectual disabilities (ID) who want to attend a college or university.

In this session we will discuss the CTP model as well as other considerations for students with ID who may want to attend college. This will include information about current programs available in KY, the student application process, and eligibility for Federal and State financial assistance.

This session is intended for educators and other IEP Team members who want to learn more about CTPs as a potential option for students with ID in pursuit of their postsecondary education/ training goals and in preparation for competitive integrated employment
