Target Audience: Special Education Teachers, General Education Teachers working with students with IEPs, Interventionists, Instructional Coaches, Administrators

3 hours PD/EILA credit

This will be a 3-hour virtual session.

The high-leverage practices in special education are divided into four components:  collaboration, social/emotional/behavioral, assessment, and instruction.

This session will provide an overview of instructional practices aligned with the High-Leverage Practices in Special Education. Strategies will include goal setting, scaffolding, explicit instruction, and teaching cognitive and metacognitive strategies to name a few.
