Are you looking for new instructional strategies to help students continually integrate new knowledge with old knowledge and revise their understanding accordingly?  In this training, we will learn how to utilize several research-based instructional strategies and teaching methods focused on effective content delivery in your classroom.   Using Dr. Marzano’s model for instruction, The New Art and Science of Teaching, as our foundation, participants will not only learn about strategies but also see many of the strategies in action.  You will leave this practical, hands-on training with new tools in your toolbox that can be used immediately!  All NEW participants who have not attended a New Art and Science of Teaching workshop at CKEC will receive a FREE copy of The Handbook for The New Art and Science of Teaching.  6 hours of PD/EILA credit will be earned upon completion of this workshop.
