Target Audience: general education, special education, instructional coaches, and math interventionists
Do you want to be more intentional with differentiation in math class but aren’t sure where to begin? This training is for you! During this in-person session at the CKEC Training Center we will use Marian Small’s open question technique as a guide to learn how to create low floor and high ceiling questions/tasks for students. Students will be met at their current achievement level with opportunities for teachers to formatively assess current understanding of a topic. Strategies for assessing and advancing student thinking will be provided during this training along with opportunities for planning and collaboration with other educators.
