3 hours PD/EILA credit

This will be a 3-hour virtual session.

The high-leverage practices in special education are divided into four components:  collaboration, social/emotional/behavioral, assessment, and instruction.

This session will focus on the four HLP’s in Social/Emotional/Behavioral practices. All students need to feel comfortable in the classroom.  In order for this to happen, teachers need to establish a consistent, organized learning environment.  Strategies that will be shared include teaching social behaviors, providing feedback, and designing student support plans.
