Target Audience: MSD teachers, ACCs, special ed facilitators, instructional coaches

This in-person professional development training is designed to equip special educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively integrate instruction on alternate assessment literacy targets with the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). In addition to exploring strategies for teaching literacy to students with complex support needs, this training will focus on creating meaningful and measurable IEP goals that align with standards. The goal of this training is to help MSD teachers streamline their workload, while ensuring that high-quality instruction in literacy standards is happening! 6 hours of PD credit will be awarded for this session.
