The saying goes that if you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve met one person with autism. What a true statement! However, there are many characteristics of autistic students that are consistent across much of the population. Join us for “Autism 101”, a half-day in-person professional development session focusing on the characteristics of autistic learners, and some high-yield strategies to support them. Focus will be on practical, easy to implement strategies that can yield significant results. If you find yourself supporting or teaching many students with autism, we would love to see you at this session! Participants will receive three hours of professional development credit for completing this PD.
