Target Audiences: MSD teachers, ACCs, special ed facilitators, instructional coaches, directors of special education
During this full-day in-person session, participants will explore IEP writing for students with complex support needs. Particular attention will be paid to alternate assessment components of the IEP, highlighting key concepts in the PLAAFP, goal writing and progress monitoring, transition goals and services, and extended school year eligibility. Participants should come with an upcoming IEP to work on, as well as data related to any goals on the existing IEP. Six hours of professional development credit will be awarded upon completion of this session.
