1/21/2021 Phonological Awareness: Supporting Emergent Literacy Learners

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

There are no upcoming dates for this event.

Target Audience: SLP’s, Para’s, OT’s, and teachers of emergent literacy learners.

Phonological awareness is ‘a multilevel skill of breaking down words into smaller units’ (Gillon, 2018).  This is an area that is often ignored for students with significant disabilities, especially learners who are nonverbal.  But phonological awareness is fun and easy to teach to students who are nonspeaking or who have significant visual impairments, including CVI.  Come learn some powerful big ideas and a few fun.  Zoom link and password will be emailed 2 days prior to the session.  For more information visit; https://tinyurl.com/CKECCarolineMusselwhite  For questions, contact Sally Miracle at sally.miracle@ckec.org.
