Wishing and hoping about squeezing in Science & Social Studies?  Fret no more!  In this 6-hr in-person training,  you will learn how to interlace Science & SS into the rest of your instructional block, with a K-5 content focus.  Additionally, we will learn how to build students’ knowledge base in order to gain more authentic comprehension.  Do you try to make connections, but your students lack the background knowledge to see the link?  Let’s explore the reasons, research, and resources to help boost student cognition and achievement.  Participants will leave with a toolbox of tactical tricks and a renewed sense of “Yes, I CAN!”
