Target Audience: Special Education Teachers, ARC Chairpersons, General Education Teachers who work with students in special education and administrators.

Using the 2019 KDE IEP Guidance Documents and other resources developed by CKEC, participants will learn to write compliant and academic outcome based IEPs.

Day 1 will focus on collecting and analyzing data to write the Present Level Statements.

Day 2 will focus on IEP goals, and completing the individualized program through items such as SDI, SAS, PM, SSP, and related services. Participants are required to bring a current IEP with collected progress monitoring data for a student on their caseload.  At the conclusion of the 2 days participants will have a draft IEP for  their student to present to the ARC.

Participants register one time to attend both days of training.
