Target Audience: General Education Teachers working with students with IEP’s, Co-Teachers, Interventionist, Instructional Coaches, Resource Teachers, Assistive Technology Team members, Occupational Therapists, Speech/Language Therapists

In this engaging 3-hour in-person training session, educators will explore the transformative potential of visual aids in supporting students’ executive functioning needs.

Throughout the workshop, participants will:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of executive functioning skills and their role in academic achievement and life success.
  • Explore a variety of visual supports, including visual schedules, graphic organizers, and task checklists, tailored to address specific executive functioning challenges.
  • Learn practical strategies for effectively integrating visual supports into classroom instruction and daily routines to promote independence and self-regulation.
  • Collaborate with peers to brainstorm creative ideas and problem-solve challenges related to implementing visual supports in diverse educational settings.
  • Access valuable resources and tools for further exploration and professional development in utilizing visual supports effectively.
