Target Audience: general education, special education, instructional coaches, and administrators

This six hour (PD/EILA) face-to-face training will highlight the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics 8 Effective Mathematics Teaching Practices. Participants will go through an application style approach to embedding these teaching practices into the classroom regardless of program and curriculum. Specific strategies aligned to the 8 MTPs will be highlighted for special education students during the training. Participants will receive the NCTM’s Principles to Action book and the companion Taking Action book.
