Modeling and prompting are part of the everyday fabric of our teaching. Did you know that, when practiced correctly, modeling and prompting are also evidence-based practices for working with autistic students? Join us as we discuss prompting procedures, modeling as a prime or prompt, and how to know if these strategies are working. Practical ways to apply these interventions in a resource room or general education classroom will also be discussed.
