Target Audience: General Education, Special Education, Instructional Coaches, and Administrators

This six-hour (PD/EILA) face-to-face training will guide K-5 teachers through task selection in the elementary math classroom. Participants will receive free books that include math tasks aligned to math standards for teachers to use to plan, execute, and engage students in meaningful math instruction for all learners. Mathematical questioning and discourse strategies will be embedded in this training to go along with the focus on rich task implementation. Teachers will have time to work on some guided grade-level task planning and content pacing during the training. Contact jane.goatley@ckec.org with questions.
