Target Audience: Special education teachers for students working with executive functioning deficits

Join us for a 3-hour virtual professional development session titled “Executive Functioning and Behavior Impacts” designed for both special education and general education teachers. This training will explore the critical role of executive functioning skills—such as organization, self-regulation, and working memory—and how deficits in these areas can impact student behavior and academic performance. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to identify executive functioning challenges in the classroom and learn effective, evidence-based strategies to support students in improving these skills. Through practical examples and interactive discussions, teachers will leave equipped with tools to enhance student focus, reduce behavioral disruptions, and foster independence. This session is essential for educators seeking to better support students with executive functioning difficulties, including those with ADHD, autism, and other learning disabilities.
