Target Audience: General Education, Special Education, Instructional Coaches, and Math Interventionists

Jen York-Barr said, “The person doing the talking is often the person doing the learning.” This in-person session will focus on incorporating the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Effective Mathematical Teaching Practices and the High-Leverage Practices for Students with Disabilities to promote engagement and achievement through posing purposeful questions and mathematical discourse in the classroom. Educators will receive a free copy of Marian Small’s book, Good Questions: Great Ways to Differentiate Mathematics Instruction.
