Target Audience:

This professional learning opportunity will explore the principles behind effective explicit instruction, considered a fundamental practice of Specially Designed Instruction (SDI).  Participants will have the opportunity to create math lessons for their classroom using the elements of explicit instruction.  The focus of the session will be on designing lessons to teach skills, strategies, and vocabulary.

This session is appropriate for all grade levels.
