Target Audience: Special Education math teachers, grades 9-12
Do your special needs students struggle to learn high school math? Do you want to build your instructional toolbox with strategies for adapting and modifying high school math content? This live virtual session will provide resources and ideas for working with special needs students in a high school math classroom (resource, co-teaching, etc.). Particular attention will be given to strategies that can be used across courses (Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2). Consideration will also be given to understanding student misconceptions around mathematical concepts and ways to intervene.
3 hours of PD credit will be awarded
