Target Audience: MSD Teachers, ACCs, Special Ed Facilitators, Instructional Coaches, Directors of Special Education

Join us for this in-person session designed to strengthen your skills in developing high-quality IEPs. This training will place special focus on exploring IEP writing for students with complex needs, including:

  • Alternate Assessment components
  • Writing meaningful PLAAFP statements
  • Developing strong, measurable goals and progress monitoring systems
  • Creating appropriate transition goals and services
  • Determining extended school year (ESY) eligibility

Participants are encouraged to bring an upcoming IEP to work on, along with data related to current goals, for hands-on practice and application. Send any questions to erica.price@ckec.org or kim.hinton@ckec.org 

Six hours of professional development credit will be awarded upon completion.
