Target Audience: SLP’s, SLPA’s, School Psychologists
Current evidence supports the inclusion of motor learning principles into therapy for children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). Specific interventions for CAS, including Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing and Rapid Syllable Transition Treatment will be introduced and their potential implementation in educational settings will also be discussed. Clinical cases will be utilized by participants to develop treatment goals and therapy plans, as well as practical strategies for implementing high-quality intervention for children with CAS.
