Target Audience: Teacher and SLP Teams of student(s) with communication needs are recommended.

This 2.5 hour professional learning session will focus on using Core Vocabulary in literacy activities such as Core Word(s) of the week, core vocabulary in books, sentence writing, music, science, as well as creating other communication opportunities using core word strategies using games and peers to engage communication with core words.  Participants will plan a core word lesson.  ASHA and KSHA CEU’s are available.
