Target Audience: Any special education staff who work with Para-Educators

Are you struggling to connect with your para-educators? Are you unsure how to utilize your paraeducators effectively? If this sounds like you, then watch our pre-recorded session to learn how to design para-led learning environments. At this session, you will learn how to build relationships, set expectations, train on EBPs, facilitate instruction, and organize data collection for your paraeducators. Additionally, real-world classroom examples will be highlighted. It is our goal, that upon your return to your classroom, your para and you will be able to implement an effective para-led learning environment. After watching the pre-recorded session, join us live on June 15 from 9:30- 11:30 am to ask specific questions, brainstorm ways to implement these strategies in your classroom, and receive feedback on your current plans. Upon completion of the live session on June 15, participants will be awarded 4 hours of Professional Development (2 hours for pre-workshop completion and 2 hours for the virtual session.

On June 8, you will be given access to a Google Drive folder filled with links and resources to complete prior to the live virtual session on June 15.  The folder will also contain the materials needed for the live Q/A session on June 15.
