In the wake of disrupted learning exacerbated by the pandemic, it is especially important for teachers to deeply know their standards in order to address unfinished learning. This session is ideal for instructional coaches, district curriculum personnel, building administrators, and teacher leaders as it will empower them to train their own staff in their standards. Participants will learn how to break down reading and writing standards and determine what mastery of a standard looks like in order to accelerate learning.  We will utilize a protocol to review assignments and determine congruence to the standards.  Furthermore, we will work on connecting standards to specially designed instruction and IEP development.  Finally, we will cover coaching strategies for accountability.

In addition to these tools and strategies, you will walk away with a folder of resources to help implement this work.
