Target Audience: Any school staff working with students with Moderate to Severe Disabilities/Cognitive Disabilities

Student engagement is a predictor of successful academic outcomes.  Students with cognitive disabilities are at a significant risk to not being successful in school due to lack of engagement.  Student behaviors are a barrier to student engagement when in turn decreases student learning.  This session will look at how to use positive reinforcement to increase student engagement for students with cognitive disabilities across school settings.  For questions, please contact sally.miracle@ckec.org.
