Target Audience: General Education Teachers working with students with IEP’s, Co-Teachers, Interventionist, Instructional Coaches, Resource Teachers

In this hybrid session, participants will receive 4 hours of self-paced through email on October 26th that needs to be completed prior to the virtual training date. Participants will also receive 3 hours of virtual training on November 9th. The virtual training will be on guided reading and specific ways to implement this in the classroom. The focus will be on lesson plans for different student levels, scheduling, assessment, centers, and other areas. Participants will be guided through steps to create lesson plans based on the book The Next Step Forward in Guided Reading by Jan Richardson. Participants will need to have their districts purchase the book The Next Step Forward in Guided Reading by Jan Richardson to complete this training. Upon completion, participants will be provided a PD certificate for a total 7 hours of credit.  For any questions, please contact erica.price@ckec.org
