Target Audience: Any school staff teaching reading and writing to students with significant disabilities

This is a hybrid book study of  Comprehensive Literacy for All: Teaching Students with Significant Disabilities to Read and Write.  The first 15 CKEC member district participants registered by October 15 will receive a copy of the book.  Participants will meet 4 times to discuss pre-assigned chapters in the book.  At the end of the sessions, participants will be able to identify immediately useful teaching strategies to teach literacy to students with significant disabilities.   During the book study participants will be able to network with other teachers for ideas and resources based on information in the book.  After each session, participants will be awarded 2 hours of PD for the time spent outside and during the live session.
