11/8/2021 & 11/15/2021 Conceptual Building Blocks of Multiplication & Division Hybrid (Live kickoff and self-paced modules)

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

There are no upcoming dates for this event.

The Conceptual Building Blocks is designed to build a teacher’s capacity to work with students in various settings.  The approach is rooted in a concrete–semi-concrete–abstract (CSA) methodology of teaching and develops conceptual understanding along the way to procedural understanding.  This module focuses on progression of thought for multiplication and division, addressing misconceptions, problem structures, fluency, and strategies for multiplication and division.

This training consists of two parts.

  1. Live virtual Kickoff Session (1 hour) on November 8 OR November 15, 2021 at 3:00 pm ET–via Zoom
  2. Asynchronous learning modules (up to 9 hours)

For the live session, you may choose to attend on November 8 or November 15.  It is the same registration.  The Zoom link will be sent by the end of the day on November 5, 2021.  That Zoom link will be good for either live session.

Number of PD/EILA hours will vary depending on which parts of the module are completed.  Up to 10 hours are possible.

*Note: extra resources will be provided to the CKEC Regional Special Education Teachers and General Education Co-Teachers who register earliest AND attend the live Kickoff!
