Target Audience: All special education staff, all special education administrative staff, all ARC chairpersons

Using the  KDE IEP Guidance Documents and other resources developed by CKEC, participants will learn to write compliant and academic outcome based IEPs. The content will include: collecting and analyzing data to write the Present Level Statements, writing measurable annual goals and completing the individualized program with  SDI, SAS, PM, SSP, and related services.

This training consists of two components.

  1. Self-paced learning module that must be completed prior to the follow-up session. Follow this link to  access the self paced module   CKEC IEP-SElf-Paced Module Agenda. 

A PD certificate for 6 PD/EILA credits will be emailed to the participant following the completion of the Self-Paced Module Exit Slip /Evaluation. 

  1. Follow-up session via Zoom on January 19, 2021 from 9:00 – 11:30. A certificate for 3 PD/EILA credits will be emailed to participants following the completion of the follow-up session. Access the follow-up session through this zoom link.
